Project Summary

As of July 2009, GLP Park Suzhou has 31 completed bonded & non-bonded warehouse facilities, totaling 405,920 sqm. Two double storey warehouse facilities of 37,000sqm each are currently under construction. These facilities will be completed in 2010.

GLP Park Suzhou is the only logistics park within Suzhou Industrial Park ("SIP"). It is developed and managed by Suzhou GLP Park Development Co., Ltd., a joint venture invested by GLP and Suzhou Logistics Center with a committed investment of RMB 1.0 Billion. GLP Park Suzhou aims to be a modern logistics park with high quality multifunctional warehouse facilities. Combined with an on-site customs office, GLP Park Suzhou supports import-export customs clearance, bonded warehousing, preliminary processing and packaging, speedy distribution, shipping, trading and other functions. The Integrated Free Trade Zone was approved by The State Council on 17 Dec 2006. All the policies will be conducted in accordance with the State Council's Approval of the Establishment of Yangshan Bonded Port.

Convenient Transportation Network

Suzhou is situated in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta, at the intersection of the coastal economic belt and Yangtze River Delta economic belt. It is about an hour's drive to Shanghai. The Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway and the Suzhou-Hangzhou Expressway intersect in Suzhou and connect it to major cities such as Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou in the Yangtze River Delta. In addition, the airports and seaports of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Pudong International Airport, Zhangjiagang riverport, Changshu riverport, Taicang riverport, and Shanghai seaport form a convenient and highly efficient transportation network.
